Before Blu-ray product was released, we were one of the few companies that the top post houses and major studios reached out to for benchmarking the Blu-ray format. Our facility was built with the next generation optical format in mind. All of our QA rooms have 1080p monitors and 7.1 audio configurations.

We have been testing DVD longer than any other company in the world. Our database has the ability to track authoring bugs per client and allows us to give our clients the data they require to manage their multiple audio, subtitle, menu, and authoring venders. A large portion of our work is international, so we know the importance of bilingual testers and continued training.

Digital Copy is a growing business for TTG and we are equipped to handle Windows Media and iTunes files. TTG’s Computer lab has all the latest and past Windows and Mac operating system versions. We routinely test files that are placed on optical media as well as downloadable digital copy files.

TTG provides off-site and in house emulation testing. If required we are set-up to visit top authoring houses to perform functionality and linear playback testing of your products. DVD, Blu-ray or electronic media - TTG is ready.

Our 100 mbps WIMAX connection allows us to download all types electronic media (DVD, Blu-ray, movie files) for fast and secure testing! We can download a 50 gb Blu-ray disc in about 2 hours.

Once downloaded, our Burn Lab has multiple Blu-ray burners connected to burn as many BD-Rs we need to perform in-house emulation testing.  This alleviates concerns of piracy, cost and time placed on the authoring house.

Having been trusted by our clients to test their first electronic media files, we developed new testing protocols and procedures. Working in conjunction with studio and top post houses we created in-house proprietary hardware and software programs to playback and test our clients’ HD and SD movie files.

Special hardware and software combination had to be used to play back the audio in its raw uncompressed format.

TTG testing facility has the ability to test the extremely large 1080p 8 channel Mezzanine files (100mbps) and all subsequent transcode files. Our partner’s files are located in a password protected testing area and also protected by robust software encryption and manger supervision. When files are not in use they are stored in our secure vault.

BD-Live

We work with our partners and top post houses to verify BD-Live settings before the image is sent to the replicator. Doing this allows us to make sure your disc is pointed to the correct server.

This allows us to find fatal mistakes that are costly and time consuming to our partners. At the check disc stage we verify all applications work correctly and are to partners specs.

mobile applications

We are currently testing iPhone and BlackBerry applications. We currently stock 100% of todays portable Apple and BlackBerry devices for testing.

website & browser testing

Optimizing your website for all browsers is very difficult with constant browser rivalry. Using TTG testing scripts we look at all aspects of your website before it goes live.

TTG will look at the overall feel, function, compatibility, usability and the perceived performance of your website and how it compares to your competitors.

hardware testing

TTG routinely tests hardware like DVD gaming, universal remotes, gaming controllers, audio recognition toys, and stand alone devices. With our experience, player matrixes, and AMPTM we can assure your equipment is compatible with the highest selling units in the United States and world wide.

AMP TM

TTG’s proprietary AMP (Affected Market Percentage) is offered with all Blu-ray disc testing reports, as well as all domestic DVD reports. Exacting and reliable market research is used to ensure that TTG has the most comprehensive manufacturer samples of players available for AMP reporting. The AMP is determined from a base of the top players sold in the marketplace for optical disc compatibility testing. Each issue is assigned an AMP percentage that reflects the specific market percentage of players affected by that particular issue. This figure allows clients to know just how potentially serious their issue could be, and the portion of the market it could affect.
